I just watched the new video by Dave Cross on Realistic clouds. It is really easy. Check it out when you get a chance. Much nicer and better than Render>Clouds.

Wendy, I thought it was neat, I have several photos that could use some clouds to look better and have never cared for the Filter>Render>Clouds effect. This is going to be one I use alot.

Hi Kim ...
I picked up a set of great cloud brushes from Adobe Exchange ... see this image:

... but I think this technique has all sorts of possibilites and you could use it to make your own brushes too :)

Wendy that is such an adorabable photo. Thanks for the tip on the brushes. I will check out the brushes on Adobe later. As usually, having trouble accessing it again. I wish they would fix their site for good. The old version wasn't such a pain as this one.

Hi Kim ...
I think that using Dave's tut and then making a brush from the individual clouds could produce brushes just as good if not better ... I'm going to try it later :)

How old is Ruby now? That picture is Darling!! She is your grandbaby, right???? Any way - I am going to try the new cloud tutorial right now. Ever since I learned to make my own brushes, I have had so much more variety available. It is so nice to be back!! Andie
