One of the problems people seem have is saving files to a specific size. An example would be trying to achieve the 100k requirement for the Challenge. So to help you out I have made a .mov. It is about 5 meg but should stream well on most machines.

Haven't looked at the Challenges for awhile and this one's a hoot thus far.

Liked the Disco as well Grant, clever! And Steven!! Your bar is a scream - especially the cat. :D Anyone we know reflected in the mirror?

And that poor cat dangling from the balcony, Alex! :D :(

Really enjoyable as always to linger at the Challenge.

Bill- What Greek or Roman ruler did you use in image #2?:D BTW, somewhere buried in my image #1 is a used car dealer named Bill. Find him?

Steven --
Looks like he's on the TV in the upper right corner. You've tucked away a bunch of different stuff is that bar scene -- nice work!

Steven - Yes, I can spot a slick used car salesman from across the bar. Nice shot of The Brick's backbar ... lots of fun additional touches.

Some great images this week (he said, sheepishly).

ALEX B: Great substitutions (hands & face in #1).
ANNE T: Interesting background for #1 and color substitution
in #2. Have to go with the new coin in #3 as my favorite in
this set.
APASSKEY: Got a chuckle from this one!
BEN M: Nice use of the different elements to make the
montage.
BILL Z: Great line drawing transformation in #1 -- the
texture really makes it work. Glad to see the wiener dog lived to see another Challenge.
BYRON G: Interesting additions to the image -- those sheep
look awfully familiar! '92 ceramic sheep on the wall, 92
ceramic sheep....'
ELLEN G: More critters! Nice work on the color.
JACK S: Nice vignette and curl job.
JAMES P: Repositioning the canopy and the sheep works well
here.
KIMI B: Nice 3-D effect with the vase cutouts.
LAURA B: A powerful statement in this one.
MALCOLM D: Interesting combination of filters here -- rubber
stamp, perhaps? Nice job on the drop shadow.
MARIE S: Ah, the Sermon to the Sheep, lost lambs who have
gone astray...
MARILYN L: Nice work on the blackline vase -- has that Greek
feel to it.
RED S: Looks like the bar scene has gone to the cats. Neat
image. The Beavis engineer is a cool idea (#2).
RITA G: Nice work on the illuminated manuscript look.
ROBYN L: Wonderful use of the railing (#1) -- I like the way
you completed the reflections in the pool. Bull or sheep?
Good looking beer, in any case. (#2)
STEVE R: The shower & shampoo is a hoot! Love the rubber
ducky.
SUSAN P: Nice line drawing and parchment looks in #1 & 2. The
Polar flower in #3 is an interesting idea.
TAB A: The old TV set as a frame is a great idea.
WARD G: Nice work with the disco ball & reflected light in
#1. Interesting pattern work in #2.
WENDY W: Interesting selective gradient application in #1.
The globe grid and shadow in #2 is great. I live the tassel
seaweed in #3.

Looks like my original reply is hiding so I'll try again

Thanks for the comments, Bob.

WARD G:...Interesting pattern work in #2. Actually, those are, ahem, stock photos slightly bent with 3-D Render filter so I did not do a lot of work on them.

[Some comments on other images]
ELLEN G: More critters! Nice work on the color. [A nice Dr Doolittle look-I like the use of previous Challenge elements.]

RED S: Looks like the bar scene has gone to the cats...[Is that "running a Tab"by at the bar? Nice way to hide little "easter eggs" throughout the picture.]

WENDY W:...The globe grid and shadow in #2 is great. [I love that wire globe. I know you gave me some instructions once, but mine never turn out as well as yours.]

Thanks Bob and Ward for the comments. I like to put things in my images that may be seen by some and missed by others. Looks like you found them. Ward, I commented on how I liked the disco one earlier; looks like he was made to boogie (what a stupid word!) Bob, really liked the filtered light effect of #2.

Bob,

thank you for your nice comment.

Ward.

Re: Wendy's Wire Frame Sphere.
That makes two of us. I printed out the tutorial from dwphotoshop.com and spent hours following every single step, several times, precisely - I thought - but I never could get the halves to fit together properly.

I love your disco scene.

Hi Bob ...

Thanks for the comments ... I had fun with this one :)

With the last one I did the background quite some time ago from a heathrow tut but I had been working on making a seahorse and those tassel seemed perfect for seaweed :)

Hi Ward ...

Its one of my favourite ways of making a wireframe sphere ... :)

The key to it is in choosing the right place to make your selections once you have done the pattern ...

This was a really fun image to start with.
Bob - thanks for taking the time and care to make comments, I really liked the coat of arms .
Ward - Thanks and in your second one are those Mardi Gras beads? I like it a lot.
Wish I had time to rave about more of everyone's entries.
