Hi all, I have just upgraded to a dSLR and am now faced with the option of photographing in RAW and/or Jpeg format. I would be interested to know if people shoot in both formats all the time or some of the time or swap between the two depending on the situation.
Up till now I have tended to mostly photograph my children for digi-scrapbooking purposes but now that I have this beautiful new Canon Rebel XTi I am determined to learn how to use its manual features properly. I am interested in widening my subject choices and introducing some creative flair into my photography.
But being new to the medium I am a little unsure on the RAW thing. Would love to know your opinions.

Not a problem.:)

This is a very active forum and stuff gets pushed down very quickly.
