PSE in Box

I have Elements 4. But instead of downloading to E5, I'm thinking of buying the CD in the box. What do I have to do before I do the download? Do I have to Remove E4 first? And what about all my pics in the Organizer or in my Collections?

Hi Ruthie ...

No you can just leave PSE4 on your pc and install PSE5. Both will stay on your system just fine ..

Once tou have installed PSE5 you will be able to convert your Organiser Catalogue to PSE5 :)

That's good to know, that I can transfer from E4 to E5. Do most people keep more than one version on their pc, and why do that?

I keep several versions mainly to make it easier to answer questions on the forum ...

However quite a few people keep PSE3 on their computer because some of their favourite addons don't work in later editions of Elements ..
