Hi,
Could someone walk me through correcting the overexposed portions of this photo? I have played with: Adjustment layers levels, brightness & contrast, etc. and also through the Enhance> Shadows & Highlights, and all the other things to try under Enhance.
I also tried duplicating and doing Multiply for layer style mode. I have also tried selecting an overblown portion and monkeying just with that, but it turned an ugly grayish color. I like how the brightness is in the rest of the picture, just not the portions of their faces that are overexposed. Any suggestions?

I would like to know, not only for this picture but for many similar situations. I know I am supposed to expose for the highlights but I often forget when I am actually taking pictures in a rush.
