I am trying to figure out how to (if at all possible) create an adjustment layer mask in PSE 5. For an example: I have one layer with a background. There is one layer on top of that with the letter "M". I want to add an adjustment layer to the "M" to "erase" the two vertical sides to turn the "M" into a "V". I can do this in PS 7 but can't figure it out for PSE 5. Does this mean it can't be done? Please say it isn't so! TIA -c-

Caralee,
Masks aren't built into PSE. But, you can download Grant's Tools (sorry, I don't have a URL - but several links are in the forum) and it has a layer mask add on action for PSE 5.0
