To all you wonderful people who have sent prayers and good wishes over the past months, I would just like to share with you my news. After a PET scan in Melbourne last week, and a visit to his oncologist yesterday, Barry has officially been declared cancer free. Thank you my friends for all your support, it was so appreciated.

Oh Robyn - we have had some sad news today. A close family friend was killed in a car accident last night. She just took an early retirement from teaching school in June and they were starting the second half of their life. Sooo your news has made me VERY VERY happy. Make the most of every day everybody.

Robyn and Diana,
Thank you. I really should not have mentioned it here but I was still in a state of shock and came here to get away from my thoughts. I am here again so I don't have to think. This was a good family friend but my sister's best friend. We have all known each other since childhood. So very very sad.

Robyn, Dear! I can't express how relieved and grateful I am for your good news! I'm sorry to be late at responding. We just arrived home from a rather frantic road trip down to Texas because of a death in the family. Coming home and reading this good news has really brightened my day.

Robyn, since I'm fairly new to the forum I had no idea! But it's so great to hear all is well now. I've had a friend who has gone thru breast cancer and is now free for good. It's such a terrible time to go thru for all involved. Now sit back and enjoy life!

I was thinking of Ellen's suggestion that you and Barry fly to Seattle, make some side trips (including here.) We could create an incredible trip itinerary that would take you to forum members homes. Criss cross the US and Canada, then we ship you over to the UK. How about a once in a lifetime celebration? Personally I would love to see some of the places I hear about. We could all do the arrangements Robyn.:D

Ah guys you are so great............travel agents and advisors, as well as being SUCH NICE PEOPLE! .......it looks like a 12 months tour all kindly arranged by PET members! :D :D We would probably need 12 months so we can fit in all the seasons.......autumn in New England sounds pretty good Marie! How does summer in California sound?
Mind you.............if you ever come down-under......you know where I am.........on that little island south of the Australian mainland.
