CD/DVD recognition problem

I some how managed to destroy one of my DVD's, with hundreds of offline pictures. Luckely, I was able to dig into all my backups and finally managed to recover all pictures on a new DVD, with the same format as the old one.

However, PSE does not recognise the new DVD, since it has another id code. For PSA 2.0 there was a small prog - Photoshop Album CD Fixer - that could be used to fix such problems. Unfortunatly, the prog does not appear to work with PSE 5.0.

So, my question is if someone has a solution for me, so I dont have to reimport all pictures and retag them all.

Have you tried to reconnect files?

Yes, but this function only reconnect the proxy files. The error message (please insert the DVD.....) appears when I mark some photos and push F11 - full screen view.

I would suggest that you post over at the adobe.com support forums. Someone there might be able to help. Detail your system specs, PSE version, the exact steps taken so far, and maybe someone can guide you.
