This must be possible but searching HELP is not immediately giving me the clue where to start. Like gathering together the selected to a file to burn.
I have Nero etc and burned my own edited camcorder videos to CD and DVD for years.
A batch of 50 to do from my first camera download, now edited.

Hello Derek
You can try this: Select the pictures you want to copy (you can tag them or make a collection at this time in case you want to use the same group later)and then do a File>Export. This should put them on the CD. I can't remember if you have to save to a temp file or not.
The File>Burn command should also work. Just do not select the Move box.
Finally, you can always make a copy outside of Elements, either with XP or your Nero software.
You may want to experiment some. I believe Elements will "close" a CD so you can not add new files later. This is supposed to be fixed in Version 5. Hope this helps.

Derek,
I have burnt my pictures to CD/DVD using Nero, no probs. Just opened up Nero & added the images I wanted to burn. I preferred that to doing it from the Organiser because I believe you can't add more pictures that way whereas you can using Nero.

Ward and Bayla,
Many thanks. It is a bit ungent as the camera came with a ticket for 50 free print and runs out 31 Oct. It has taken me a little time to get used to PSE5 and make my own operating notes.
After the message, created a new file in Window and drag & dropped edited photo files to it, to pick up in Nero.
The problem is HELP/PDF printed is simply not in step anymore and not geared to beginners - work in progress perhaps.
File/Export is there and I admit missing that. Nothing in HELP about it came from my search though.
File/Burn is not there. But I notice File/Create VCD with menu and Slide show to look forward to.
Nero is huge and similarly chalenged, but I will have a go now.
CDs are so cheap in 100s as I buy for backups it does not matter if it does close after one session to print at a shop.
Reguards, Derek

Derek,
If you have XP, the quick and dirty way would be to select the pictures you want, right click one of them and then Send to E:\ (with E:\ being my DVD drive-substitute your own). You should get a pop up saying You have files to burn to DVD and you simply follow the prompts.
