Layer styles

I just found out you can drag the layer style icon to different layers holding the alt key drags a duplicate.

Is this new or am I just slow on the uptake:D

edit.. and you can also just drag the layer style Icon to the trash bin.

Hey Gary, that works in CS2 also! Of course I never remember which button to hold at the same time and I usually move it first, then have to copy it back. :rolleyes:

I just got 5 running the other day and am just starting to explore the little things.:D

Gary, I was just thinking about asking you if you'd moved up to 5. I didn't even load my good ol' 3 onto my computer. Are there lots of new things in 5? I remember when I started at work with CS there wasn't even a healing brush there. I went to a conference a year ago where they were showing all the new tricks of CS2 like the healing brush. 'Gee, I was using that in Elements!' Sure is amazing for taking off zits!

Still no actions in 5 though, huh?

Nope .. actions are the same.. can't create and hit and miss as to what will work.

It is still new though and we are going through trying ot find any little thing to play with.

It has artwork and some other type of styles that make it great for scrappers. I can see a whole bunch of addons becoming available.

I never went to 4 but 5 has enough new stuff that it got me thinking it was worth it.

Its really nice to "see" you back around.. even for just a bit.:D

They brought in drag and drop layer styles when they brought out PSE4 ... :)

I have always used in in Photoshop but only just realised that they actually added in into Elements with PSE4 :eek: ... oh my and it was only the other day I told someone how to add layer styles to multiple layer by the long method :eek:
