When I backup my catalog onto a CD, the names of my photos are listed as "B0000000", "B0000001", etc. Is there a way to have them listed with their actual filenames so I know what each one is without having to open them up?
Thanks.

Hello Mary
This is part of the way Elements does it backup. You should have a two other files, one that ends in TLY and one that ends in BUC (which I believe stands for BackUpCatalog).
If you use the Restore option, it will reload the pictures and rename them to their original file name.
If you want to move pictures off your hard drive to save space, you can use the File>Burn command to move the pictures, but still leave a small image with a CD disk in one corner. If you click this picture in Organizer, it will ask you to insert the appropriate disk.
Hope this helps.
