I just put one in my gallery. This may throw me over the edge of the cliff and into the scrapping pit. I'll have to look again to see if I have a clear picture of the jack-o-lantern, but I think this blurry one is exactly what it looked like -- or what it was intended to look like.

Thanks, Kim. And thanks to Grafi and Wendy (and probably a few other people) for showing how easy it is to install in PSE5!

I just put another Halloween pic in my gallery. I went trick-or-treating with my grandson and his little sister. He needs a push in the stroller and she needs someone to catch her when she starts to run, so Mom and I took the kids out and Daddy stayed home to hand out treats. Scary neighborhood!

Norma, the animation is done with "save for web" saving it as a gif with animation checked.

You need a few layers, each one a little different -- but not too many and not too big. For the ghost animation I flattened the image except for the ghost. Duplicated the layers once and made the ghost a little bigger. Merged the original image/ghost pair. Duplicated the layers again and made the ghost a little bigger with a "boo". Merged the middle sized pair. Merged the papa-bear sized pair and the text. Duplicated the middle sized layer. Duplicated the little ghost layer. Now I have 5 layers - pic with small ghost, pic with middle sized ghost, pic with large ghost "boo", pic with middle sized ghost again, and pic with small ghost again.

I love the "fun" elements you guys put in your photos... I wish I could think like that:mad:
Not that I am unhappy with mine. I just wish I would think of that stuff when I am doing things.

The little beggers didn't come to our house until tonight. For some reason we had a lot more girls this year than boys. And... we always know when girls are coming because we can hear them giggling as they came up the driveway. :)
