Adobe Studio Exchange- Update

I saw today that changes are underway at the Adobe Studio Exchange, based on all the user input! I posted it to the old thread, but I think it's just buried and no one noticed. Here's the thread (http://www.adobeforums.com/cgi-bin/webx/.3bc20711)from the Adobe forum. Hope this brings back the good things of the exchange.

I hadn't been over to the threads about the exchange for a while so hadn't seen this ... thanks very much for posting it :)

I am just so pleased that they are sorting it out, I have missed the exchange so much ... and fingers crossed that it doesn't take too long to do ..

One thing did make me smile was that they are going to sort out access via the Camino Browser (:D ) that was one of the things I had on my list .. it was such a pain having to keep changing browser.

Funny thing is that parts of the Adobe store were updated at the same time and it mean't that you could only buy Adobe products if you were using the "right" browser :eek: ... they sorted that one out very quickly :D

I rarely go there now, either, but I braved it yesterday because I really needed something for a project. I didn't find it, but my search was worth it, since I found out things might get better!

Guess that we are all keeping our fingers crossed that they sort it out ... I wanted something yesterday but the search facility was less than useless. In the end I had to go elsewhere :( as I just didn't have time to wade through all the custom shapes.

Wendy--do you know? I can't find any NEW uploads anymore--they always had new brushes, etc. every week --sometimes every few days? Am I missing something?

You know, I was there a few days ago and found some cool Indy car brushes for a layout I was working on. I had no problems - it even kept the file extension when I downloaded (using firefox). At first I wasn't sure what I was doing, but after clicking around a bit, I was able to get it going. I've even found some custom shapes and been successful. Don't give up yet.

Betty- Many of the designers have stopped uploading because of the state of the exchange. I suspect it will be hard to find anything new until/unless they change it.

That's kinda what I suspected, Kay, after reading posts by Karl Sneath & Panos, etc. on the Adobe forum.
