I would like to know , for I am lazy and don't wish to re-type the whole darn thing, if I can somehow copy, say a page of text, from wherever and somehow 'paste it' as a text layer, over a (background) picture. Is this do-able??
or must I type it out and/or create a .jpg, or .psd, or .png file of it? See even this is alot of typing for me...

It is doable. I've done it before. Just select the text you want, copy it, go to Elements, create a new layer, create a text field on that layer, and paste. Works like a charm!

I did that exact thing before and I get nothing.....I openned Elements, created a new blank layer "background", select text tool, and then when I go to paste ....nothing happens (right clicking the mouse to paste results in nothing). I am returning to try it again.....
