I'm attempting to reinstall Elements 3 in Windows XP2. The Wizard opens and validates the installation for Repair Mode. It then asks to install disk 1. I open and close the drive door and a continue to get the message that disk 1 needs to be inserted.

Should I uninstall 3 and start over?

Thanks.

I should add that the reason I'm reinstalling is that Internet Explorer 7 has crashed Adobe e-mailer. I installed 7 two days ago and immediatley the e-mailer stopped working. I've uninstalled 7 and now when i attempt to send a pix via Adobe e-mail, i get an error message that the pix could not be sent for some unknown reason. My guess is that some setting has been changed and that Elements 3 needs to be re-installed.

Hi Joe ...

and welcome to the forum :)

You can't actually do a repair for Elements (as you have found out it just keep throwing up that error message) you need to do an unistall followed by an install ...

Hope it goes well :)
