Help Please?

Can anyone tell me how to do the thin line around a card like this...

Hi Jeannie,
Use your rectangular marquee tool to make a selection right where you want the line to go.

Now create a new layer (with the selection still showing -- marching ants).

Go to Edit>Stroke (Outline) selection.

A screen will appear where you can pick the color of the stroke, and the size. You may have to experiment with the size, depending on the size of your entire image.

Click OK, and you'll have your stroke.

Hi Jeannie. Create a new layer and use the selection tool to make the sharp you want and where you want it. Then you up to edit Stroke (outline) selection. Then in the box, chose the size pixels you want it, the color and click the inside spot and then click ok.

Yep -- that always seems to happen. At least we gave her the same info. Sometimes when that happens there are two different methods presented, which can be confusing to a newbie! :-) We're of like mind!
