I had an Image from the camera was taken in RGB Mode and I wanted to convert it to sRGB for a digital projector. So I removed the color profile.
Image>Convert Color Profile>Remove Profile > then Apply sRGB Profile
That went Ok. :)
Then I changed the color profile. Apply sRGB Profile
Before closing the image, I then had window that gave me the option of saving this as an sRGB so I did and now have a copy of this Image in sRGB.
But, I noticed that the Color Mode of the sRGB profile did not change to sRGB. It remained as RGB. So this wouldn't be a true transition; would it?
I would think that the colors wouldn't be as good if it was a mixed setting RGB Color Mode and a sRGB color profile. Wouldn't the Image loose the colorpunch in the process of these mixed settings?
What are your opinions about this?
