Evening Everyone
Please may I ask if in Elements 2, it is possible to have two images open as in a before and after shot, so you are able to see what the changes made to the image are.
Thank you
Terri

Hi Terri ...
I know how to do this in Photoshop but I'm not sure if you can do it in Elements ... I will keep on looking and let you know if I find anything :)

Hi Terri
If Wendy can't find an Elements workaround for the Photoshop option you can always try this;
Keep an unchanged layer. Say you have a background or other layer before the change and another layer with the change.
Click on the unchanged layer and hold the alt key on a pc, option on a mac I think, and click on the eye in the layer pallet. This will turn off all layers except the unchanged layer.
Click on and off a few times and it will toggle between the changed and unchanged version.
Sometimes I think this is better than side by side because differences jump out at you more.
I don't have elements 2 so I am not sure it will work the same

I would just duplicate the image when I opened it.

Thank you all for your replies to my question . .
Why did I not think of just duplicating the photo?
