Hi,
I would like to send photos using e-mail. I have set my contact information and the wizard displays, loads the photos...then asks for a verification code that I should have received via an email message.
I did not get an email and can not find any help on how to get a verification code.
I found a place to email my question on the adobe customer support...but received a typical how-to share email response.
This can't be that hard...any suggestions where I can a verification code would be greatly appreciated!!!!

Good Morning and welcome to the forum.
I keep a folder on the computer entitled 'photos'. There are a lot of other folders by catefories/events inside it. It is not in elements.
When I wish to e-mail one, I click the photo thumbnail, to activate it, then on the left side click e-mail this photo. then my choice comes up as full size or smaller size. I just follow the prompts from there.
If I was in elements to begin with, and finished with a photo I was working on. I then do file>save as> name it, and save it into one of the photo folders as a .jpg, and often as a copy.
Hope this hleps.

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Where are you sending your photos from? I send mine from Organiser or as attachments when sending messages from Outlook Express. Never come across your problem before.

It sounds like you have Elements setup to use the Adobe Email Service which requires a verification code.
Go into Edit > Preferences > Sharing and then select your usual email client e.g Outlook Express.
Hope this helps

Hi All,
Thanks for the responses. I am trying to send photos from the organizer and I have done edit>preferences>sharing and selected Adobe email service.
When I select one or more photos to email...following along with the wizard...the last step asks for a verification code and states it was sent to me via email? It will not let me go any further.:(
I have tried online help, the book that came with the software, going to the adobe website, and no where can I find any mention of this verification code.:(

Did you read my previous post which suggested you try using your normal email client such as Outlook Express?

If you do want to use the Adobe service you do need to set it up in Preferences>Services. Fill in the boxes, send an email and you should get the verification code. I haven't tried it as I'm an Outlook Express user too,

I agree with Bayla. I send mine out as e-mails using Outlook and it's super easy! I've never had a problem.

Hi All,
Thanks for all the comments. I had all my preferences for service set-up too. Still did not let me send photos, without this unknown verification code.
I do not use Outlook or Outlook express....

Sounds like Adobe's emailer is broken or your spam trap has trapped it. Suggest you call Adobe support and get them to fix the problem.
