View Full Version : Another DVD Menu Problem

I want to make a DVD menu template using PSE4 for my slide shows before I take them into PrE2 to make the DVD. However the wizard is not helpful.

I want a simple front end for the menu, comprising my own background image, a title and two selectable options - "Play SlideShow" and "Select Scenes" - giving the viewer the choice of either watching the whole slide show or just selecting individual scenes or chapters to watch.

The wizard lets me start from scratch, but this creates problems - I can't control the size of the text and graphics which accompany the options. If I manage to get the text the same size, the arrows or stars or buttons or whatever are different sizes. I just want the text to be the same size - arrows or buttons would be nice but they are far from essential.

The wizard also lets me start with an existing template and modify it. These have two many options on the front menu, and deleting the surplus ones seems impossible. I can usually get rid of the text but not the accompanying button or arrow or line etc.

The second level menus (the scene choices) don't seem to be too troublesome - it's the first one which is giving me grief!

Can anyone out there offer any advice, either on how to do this or by pointing out places where I might track down such a template.

Thanks in advance.

Robert

Hi Robert

I don't know the answer but I think you could ask this question in the Premiere Elements Thread. I think they will be able to give you the answer.

Hope you get sorted out.
