For any mac users - I don't think that Lesson 20 really applies to us - since we don't have those parts of the Windows verson.

Hi there,

Not really sure what you mean ... ??

Day 20 of the training is on the File browser ... the Mac version of the file browser is indeed slightly different to the Windows version in that it is the full CS browser whereas the Windows browser is a cut down version.

Anything that is covered on the Window version will be relevant to the Mac version ... its just that we get a few extras above and beyond that ... such as keywords.

bnk1953,

Perhaps you are thinking of Adobe Photo Album, which is for Windows only. Macs have iPhoto instead. However, Elements on the Mac does indeed have the browser as Wendy mentioned. ;-)

Adobe really managed to confuse things by calling the Organizer in the Windows version the Photo Browser and also throwing in the File Browser. The File Browser in Windows is pretty capable - you can look at keywords and search on them but sneekily they greyed out the edit box and tell you to go add them from Organizer aka Photo Browser. But I'm sure we'll find out how it all works in the last lesson tomorrow (OK I cheated - I have downloaded them up to date but I'm a bit behind with doing them  )

Tony,

The Mac version lets you use keywords in the file browser ...

... mind you I don't use that facility at all.

Sorry - my bad - I just get confused with the different browsers and the names that are being used.

I know ...

I find it a little confusing too :)
