I am new to this group and may ask really dumb questions. Although I took 2 courses on photoshop I don't know if I can make a template in which to put photos and text. For example, on an 8 x 10 page I want to place 4 photos with text underneath. The photos would be approx 3 x 5. IF I can make this tmeplate how do I get the large file photos to fit. Also can I do spiffy backgorunds. Just did a book on SHutterfly and I began wondering if it is possbile to create and print my own pages. I can't find ANY software that allows this, all makers have you pay them to print the book. Thank you so much, Kim

Hi Kim and welcome to the forum. They are a lot of wonderful people here who are very helpful. I am being to think we Kim's are taking over here, there are alot of us.:D

You can do what you are describing in Elements by making a collage/montage. There are several threads here with instructions for it. I will find one and come back and post it for you.

I can't help you with the book part but there are several here who do them that may be able to help you.

EDIT: Here is the link to the instructions.

Hi Kim ..

... and welcome to the forum :)

As Kim said (what a lot of Kims :D ) you are indeed just making a montage and that is fairly easy to do in Elements ... once you have made it then you will be able to print it out yourself :)
