Here is a solution for Elements 4 - I imagine that version 5 would operate in much the same way.
In Organiser, use the Tags panel to bring in just the pictures you want.
Click Edit --> Select All to select all these photos for burning.
Click Files --> Burn and follow the instructions.
Make sure that Copy/Move is selected in the first dialogue box, and in the next box leave Move Files unchecked (if you check it you will delete these files from your hard drive as they are burned to the CD)
Hope this helps.

PSE5 no longer has the File>Burn menu item but File>Copy/Move Offline does the same thing as Robert says.
What was the Burn shortcut (Ctrl B) in PSE4 now just takes you to the Back-up catalog dialogue in PSE5 (In PSE4 it went to both Copy/Move files and Back-up Catalog and you had to select which one you wanted to do).

Tony W,
From what I have read, the new Photoshop Elements 5.0, like the Photoshop Elements 3.0 version, has burn software that will allow you to burn a file to CD or DVD. In addition, the 5.0 burn now supports multisessions, whereas the 3.0 version burn does not. Contrast all this with the 4.0 version burn software that only allows you to burn to CD and did not support multisessions. But, when all is said and done, you still need another program to author a DVD-VIDEO(MPEG2).
I stress that this DVD burning with burning software within the 5.0 version does not produce at DVD-VIDEO(MPEG2), just a file burned to a DVD.
From your post, it sounded like you now have Photoshop Elements 5.0. I still have the older version, so could you confirm the above which I have pieced together from reading?
