I got the elements 5 installed and catalog converted. Now on my computer I have PSE 2 (never used, used Kodak easyshare), PSE 4 Used within last 6months to convert photo's only. And now the PSE5 (dedicated to using for everything), It will upload to my Kodak galleries, etc and will adjust all my photos and make interesting presentations for family and friends. My Question, should I remove the other elements programs since I dont see myself using them? What would I use them for?

Hi Chris ...
There is only one version of PSE5 ... the upgrade is just a price reduction for people who already own a previous version of Elements.
Not sure what you mean by copy your stuff ... you certainly will be able transfer your catalogue over but anything you have installed in PSE4 (like layers styles, brushes etc) well you will have to install them again in PSE5.
When you install PSE5 it will simply install on your computer leaving PSE4 just where it is ... you can just leave PSE4 where it is (if you wish) ... quite a few of us here have several different versions installed. It will take up hard disk space but only uses memory when you start it up ... and seeing that you won't PSE4 and PSE5 at the same time then that isn't really an issue :)
Hope this helps ..
Wendy
Saw this quote in another thread (see 3rd para.) I guess it's a personal preference whether you want to have 2 versions on your computer. I'm sure someone else can answer more in depth. I personally only have 1 (PE5). I made sure I copied everything over that I needed and it's running great.

Hi Dee ...
If you do delete PSE4 after you have installed PSE5 then you may find that the uninstall removes Adobe Gamma too (it has done with previous versions).
Its pretty easy to fix if you do lose it ... you just need to uninstall PSE5 and then re-install it :)

Wendy, so I can check for that, what folder would it be in. Is it a hidden file?

Hi Norma ...
Ah!! ... I am not good at Windows ..
Adobe Gamma is used to calibrate your monitor and you access it via the Control Panel ... take a look at this thread as there are a couple of things in it that should help:
