I am really enjoying Elements 5. It has so many great features. I am also finding it a bit easier to use than version 4. In my opinion it is a very good program :)

Agree completely. Love the color curves, just started experimenting with them today.

Good Morning Everyone,
I'm glad I upgraded to PSE5 as the new features are very cool. The curves and black & white conversions are the most exciting.
I got Jodi Missing Styles loaded and there working great.

John:
Once you get a really nice B&W conversion going, would you post your steps and an example of the before/after? I have a little trouble making the B&W images contrasty and smooth.

Marie,
I'll start working next week on a restoration using PSE5 for the black and white conversion. Once is complete I'll post before and after photos.
Today I reading the Missing Manual and playing the with some fall colors shots taken last week. The weather has turned a cooler so a good reason to work on photos that I need to print.
Have a great day!
John:) :)

Just bought Elements 5.0, but haven't had time yet to play with it yet. My problem right now is that I am having trouble registering. I provided the information necessary to register and the program says that it can't find a connection to the internet. I am using a cable connection which leaves the internet open and available at all times. I have gone to Internet explorer just to check and see if the connection is working, which it is.
Is there another setting which I should check (like blockers, virus programs etc).
TIA

Nope, not using wireless anything. Any ideas? I guess others haven't had any trouble registering, and don't know why I should.

Thanks you for reading my post. I went to the Adobe Website and found the answer. I ordered the program from the Adobe store. I went back and looked and found out that the product is automatically registered when ordered electronically. Now why didn't they tell me that in the message box instead of saying there was no internet connection. Don't they know there are people out here that are dumber than a stump and need to have something specific like "hey stupid, you're registered already. :D
