I am working on a photo and trying to enhancing the eyes accoring to the eye video in the subscriber area. When I use the selection elliptical marquee tool to make my selection on the eye(s) then go the the select, feather I get a WARING message which reads:
"no pixels are more thatn 50% selected the selection edges will not be visible"
what does this mean and how do I correct this?
Thank you,

Check the feather value, it probably is very high.

You know, I think you are correct, I only had it set to 8, but I lowered it to 3 and did not get the warning message. I will continue with my photo enhancement(s).
Thank you so much especially for the prompt response.
I really did not think that 8 was set to high, but I guess for a small area such as eyes, and my photo does have a low resolution, (don't really know what I am talking about).
THANK YOU AGAIN, YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!!!

It's not really the value itself that matters, it's the relation between the area of the selection and the feather.
For example, 8 is very small if your area is 640x480. However, 8 is too high if you area is 4 x 4, because there's no area left to be feathered.

Ooooh, thank you for the explaination.
So much to learn, but then I guess if I were thinking clearly, it only makes sense.
I will remember this in the future.
Thanks again,
M
