Where are the undo redo buttons in E5? In the help sections it talks about using them in the shortcuts bar but they are not there!! How do you get them to the shorcuts bar?
Thanks,
Jayne

They're gone. Now you either use the Edit menus or the shortcut keys (UNDO = Ctrol-Z REDO = Ctrol- Y)

Look in the user guide to E5 on page 37 or in help. It says "Click the undo or Redo buttons on the shortcuts bar.
But they are not there. There has to be a way that the shorcuts bar can be customized. Does anyone know how?

Jayne ...
There really isn't a way to do it ... Adobe removed the buttons altogether.
Sounds like the help section has just been carried forward from a previous version ..

Thank you. Guess I'll have to get use to the new way.

I find the easiest way is to have Undo History in the palette and click forwards and backwards there. The advantage is that you can go back and forth more than one step with just one click.

I agree. I always have four palettes load in the palette bin and one of them is the undo history. I use undo history about 50% of the time and the keyboard shortcut the rest.
The other palettes I load: effects, layers, and navigator.

I just tend to do Edit>Undo ... :)
... but I always have the History Palette open for when I want to go back more than once ...

I bet the removal of those cool, easy to use arrows was pure oversight. I think it will come back into the program via an update. Here's hoping.

Marie,
I understand that they were left out on purpose, to unclutter the workspace. And then they forgot to change the help file.
An update would be a really novel approach. ;) Maybe they'll be back in version 6.

Interesting. Those were incredibly handy, as I am prone to making garrish mistakes. Hope to see them again!

And leaving them out does get you prepared for full Photoshop which doesn't have them either.
