Look at my poor baby.
Well check out that smile then check out that GOOSE EGG! Goes to show if you are gonna turn and do 0-60 in 1 second then make sure the floor tool to the sweeper isn't behind you. She stepped on it and it was like stepping on a rake, all I heard was POP. She boo-hooed for a whole 2 seconds and was fine. I took it harder than she did. Little stinker!!! She is fine thank goodness. No I seriously did not take the picture for a photo-opp for once. This was only to email Dave for a his opinion. The pic was within two mins. of the bang and it raised that fast. SCARY!! But as you can see she is all smiles as always and going back at 60 mph. As for me, I have about 30 more gray hairs. UGH!!!!!!!!!
She is perfectly fine now and hasn't slowed down one bit!!!

Great page... aren't kids just like that... mine is 3 and half the time if you don't hear the bump or thud, he'll show up with boo boos and have no idea where they came from... other times he'll barely bump into something and I'll have to plant tons of kisses on it to "heal" it!! Kids are so funny!!

Looks like she's wearing it proudly too! :D Very cute!
My oldest did the same thing - turned to run and missed the right hand turn in the hallway and smacked the corner that jutted out into the hall at full speed. Knocked her backwards two feet. The goose-egg raised almost a full inch and was pulsing  . I screamed for my hubby and we rushed her to ER (okay - first injury ever) and they slapped some ice on it, checked her eyes and said leave it alone. Within an hour of getting back home she was running into the hallway again.

Tina.........
You beat me to it. I was just about to start a thread called "Our scrapbooking queen". Your stuff is WONDERFUL. Are you a contributor at Scrappers Guide yet. If you are not, you should be, you would be an absolute shining light there!

Laura, sometimes I think I would stress less if they reacted the way I would think they would. UGH. When you think the worst they are like whatever and when I think it's not a bad boo boo, yeah they think it's the worst...lol
Nancy, I was ready to head out the door, I called Dave, he was like calm down!! I was like well get ready to check your email and LOOK!!!!!! He said listen to her she is fine, she is telling me she is sorry and she is fine, at two and a half she was more worried about me having my moment. Love her heart.
Robyn, you have me cracking up! THANK YOU! I have been lurking over at scrappers guide, haven't posted anything. My email was down monday and I missed my email. But I did go to the site and got the video just missed the tutorial. I reallly love those video, between here and there I am getting a good collection. =) Love the site, with this dialup I have some slow days so I just usually read and go on.
THANKS FOR ALWAYS having kind words ladies!
I put her to bed, now I can't sleep, I'll stress all evening. Poor hubby thinks he needs to bump me on the head so I'll shut up and go to sleep. lol

When they're little, it's little bumps. When they grow up, it's big bumps. The gray hairs have just begun:D

Thanks Kev and Wendy.
Thanks Kimh and trust me since gal #2 I hit the bottle (hair color people... hee hee) a lot more frequently. She isn't the calm, cool, collective kid that big sis was. But she's my baby!

My son will be one in Dec and Bekah won't be 3 until April. I was so worried when I found out she was a she at the level II ultrasound - I actually cried. I am a total tomboy and was so afraid I wouldn't be able to relate to a girly girl. Forunately (or unfortunately depending on the point of view) she has been every inch a tomboy right from the start!
Thought son would end up being more laid back, but he is just as competative as big sister but doesn't have quite the need to be the constant center of attention.
I've given up on hitting the bottle - just hoping I can go grey gracefully! :D

Tina, if you'd been spending more time designing or here in the forum instead of cleaning house that never would have happened. That should teach you a lesson... housework hurts!!! :D
Seriously, I hope she's hanging in there without too much of a headache. I see it did not stop her beautiful smile.
Wonderful LO!

Would you believe there is NOT a bruise after that. I thought for sure when we woke up she'd be purple. :( But NOPE you'd never known it happen. :)
What a relief!!!
