retangular line

Basic question that I cant figure out. I have a black backround layer and have added in three seperate photos to it. I would like to add a rectangular line to the colage. I can't seem to figure this simple sounding task out, help!

Hi ...

Create a new layer Layer>New>Layer
then get the rectangular marquee and drag it to where you want the line to be ..
once you have done that just do Edit>Stroke Selection ..
