My daughter e-mailed one of the scrapbooking pages I did of my youngest granddaughter to a friend of hers. I got a phonecall from the friend saying how much she liked it and how had I done it...hadn't the button scratched the scanner & wasn't I worried about squashing the page...I realised that she thought I had made a scrapbook page the old fashioned way with paper, glue & 3D embellishments & then scanned it in! I explained that it had all been done digitally etc etc & she was amazed "...but it looks just like the real thing" was her comment!

I think I may well send her a link to this forum so she can ogle at everyone's galleries!

Bayla... isn't it nice when we get compliments! Even if they come about in a strange way. :D

Bayla, that is so great. I recently made CD's for some of the parents of my son's football team and added the montages I have made of him. I have parents now wanting to know how I did it and want me to make them for their sons. It is so great to gets compliments on your work.

That's funny, Balya! My brother told a woman at a traditional scrapbooking store about my digital scrapbooking, and she was aghast- "that's not real scrapbooking," she said. My brother defended me, though, and said he loves what I do. :)

My mom still looks at my pages and wants to know if I put it together and took a picture of the finished page. :rolleyes:

Bet you totally blew her mind when you said it was all digitally done.

Kay, I'd bet that person probably thinks digital photography is not "real" photography either! :rolleyes:
