I've seen some cubes being done in the Gallery. Are these variations of the "Presents Pt 1 and 2 (Dec 05) that I see in the Subscriber video section? Or is there another tut out there I didn't see.

I would like to learn how to use the cube effect also. Can't wait until someone answers that knows how to do this. I've seen it before on the forum, maybe we can search the forum and find out.

I searched the Forum, looks like most people downloaded the cube from Vizros.com to create a cube. Some of the experienced users of PSE used Vizros. Maybe we should give that a try. I will try tomorrow and let you know how it comes out.

I made my cubes with the techniques article. vol 3 #3 .
Also used from Kelby's book "Down and Dirty tricks" elements 3 on p 224. It worked fine and I have PSE4.
I think I have at least one in my gallery.
Each time I make one, they turn out a bit different, so I started saving them, without the pictures on them

I used the Techniques article too. I got a little sloppy on my last one though.

If I recall, we did the photo cubes before the present tut was out.. probably from Scotts book. But the basics are the same.

One word of advice go slow when positioning and zoom in as much as possible. Ok thats two words :D.

It is very easy to not have the edges line up, and way harder to fix once you have commiited the first position.

Have fun and hope to see yours soon.:)

I don't have techniques article vol 3 #3. I just joined the forum, my oldest volume is Volume 3, #5. Guess I will try the download, or maybe call and order the #3 article. I seem to learn new techniques just by using tutorials and then I am able to use them in other projects. Should be interesting what I come up with.

Let us know how you get on.

Pay attention to the way the 3d filter thing works.. it is really weird :D

Not hard ... just weird.:)

Thanks, I found it in the magazine. I'll make certain to pay attention when I try it out. Weird eh? That means I'll certainly get stuck somewhere.
