I just upgraded to version 5 and have been playing around with the program for a couple of hours and have noticed that version 5 eliminated the blue arrows at the top of the editor to undo and redo. I was using the clone tool and wanted to undo the last click I made and looked up and those arrows that were in v.4 were gone in V.5. Now you have to go to edit and click those selections in there or take your hand off the mouse and go to the keyboard and type in control-Z to undo or control-Y to redo. I hope someone reading this can see a faster way like in V.4. I miss those blue arrows. Wonder if they are still there and I cant' see them. What I am asking is by some miracle they are hiding somewhere and someone can tell me where to find them. Wishful thinking. Steve

Hi Steve ...
Adobe removed the undo and redo buttons in this version ... so I'm afraid that you won't find them hiding anywhere.
I find that the easiest way to do shortcuts is to still hang onto the mouse with my right hand and do the shortcut with my left .. :)

I missed them too initially but having got used to CS2 which doesn't have them either it didn't take long to adjust. I prefer to use the Undo History palette rather than the shortcuts as you can then see what you're undoing and go back more than one undo with one click. The Undo History palette doesn't show in the default set-up. You have to turn it on (in the Windows menu) but once you do it will come up next time.

I don't have v5 yet, but those are buttons I wouldn't miss as I never use them. Ctrl Z is so much easier or using the history pallet. I guess it's just what you get used to from the start.

I guess I just got real dependent with using those arrows. Guess I'll have to get used to using ctrl Z. Who knows , once I get used to using that method I just might like it better than what I am used to right now. Thanks Steve
