I've been using a few downloads from PanoFX (http://www.panosfx.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=142&Itemid=47) lately. Here's one:

I'm thinking about pulling the red one out instead.
All my PSE docs seem to be works in progress.

Very nice and clever too, John!
I had the chance to have a look at a few more of John's works and I was very impressed with his creativity!

http://www.graficalicus.com/modules/PNphpBB2/images/smiles/bowdown.gif cool, John - one thing I thought of was to make the man's lower body grey also to match the wall, and have his upper body keep the bold coloring, as if he's emerging from the image. A semi-breakout, sorta.
For the tops, I think I like the red one being in front as well - it makes more of an impact with the color.
Excellent images (and freakin' cool actions, too, Panos!)

Thanks so much Grafi!
I am still waiting for the date PSE5 will be released here in Greece. Adobe's representatives told me it will be available in a week from now. The upgrade price is (as with all Adobe products) almost two times the US price (85 euros, ~ $108).
I want to buy the bundlepack (PSE5 & Premiere Elements 3).

The good news is that all the Panos Actions I've tried so far in PSE5 (about 14 of them) run just fine in PSE5. Only thing that will need fixing are the thumbnails. Actually PSE5 doesn't even need them - I just loaded only the atn files into a Panos FX folder, stuck it in the right place and Elements does the rest. I can certainly live with with just having the name of the action with no thumbnail :)

This isn't too good an attempt to do that:

I don't know - looks pretty interesting...
try painting a dark (#333333) drop shadow behind him with a very soft, round brush and an opacity of about 40 - 50% and build it up on a separate layer beneath him - - change that layer's blend to Multiply
I love experimenting - best way to learn what works & what doesn't!
(oh - try changing the blend mode of the text layer to Multiply, too - it'll allow the cracks to show through through the text )

(oh - try changing the blend mode of the text layer to Multiply, too - it'll allow the cracks to show through through the text )I wasn't happy with the drop shadow. The image layers are multiple and selected in such a way that it didn't work. I created a drop-shadow initially for the man though.
I changed the blend of the text layer and dropped the opacity a little.
