Hi, I'm been trying to apply the video "Edge Effect by Matt Kloskowski" to cs2 and I'm getting stuck. It works fine up until "group with previous", this seems to be different in CS2.
I know this isn't really a cs2 forum, but since the video is here, I thought I'd ask the question.

Basically I want to put a couple of pics on a background and apply a sprayed brush stroke to make a cool frame, just like the exemple .
I know how to do the same thing using a paint brush but that takes more time

Thanks for any help

Brent

Hi Brent, not sure which tutorial you are following but ' group w/previous in Cs2 would be called a clipping mask ( under layer menu ) or Ctrl+Alt+G.

Hi

Im often using those masks and sometimes it can be confusing.
For that kind of mask your talking about, you most have a third layer
underneath. We could think the 'bottom' layer is something like a
projector screen/canwas.
Also remember to Alt+Backspace or Ctrl+Backspace on the mask :D

Benny,
PS. Great Tips:
Create a new top layer and press Ctrl+Shift+Alt+E would merge visible into
the new top layer without flatten/delete the other layers.

Thanks Jodi and Benny, all is now working.
I was a bit long responding as I wanted to want a try first, I have done that, and it works great

THANKS
