Hi guys... I need opinions on this page. Its the first time I didn't use a quick page to just drop in my images... It seems like it took me forever!!! Anyway, tell me what you think and anything I should change....

Laura, I've only done one scrapbook kit but I think it looks great. It will be a nice memory for him. The only thing I might change is the cake embellishments. Since Tyler is 3 years old, I'd only do three cakes instead of four. But that is me

Nice layout. I also think that 3 cakes and 3 candles would be better - four of them is a wee bit confusing when it is a 3rd birthday celebration.

Thanks Jane and Kim. I never even thought about only doing 3 candles and cakes but it does make sense.
Thanks again

I really like it too! I agree with the three cakes, but I would put the verse about Tylers birthday where the cakes are and the cakes where the verse is. I am not a scrappbooker, but I had to turn my head to the side to read it....now, that may well be all part of the scrappbooking thing, so feel free to completely disregard my comments.....:o
I am in awe of all of you who do scrappbooking. The creativity it takes is something I just don't have........

Thanks everyone. I don't feel like have the creative knack but was pleased with how this turned out... It seems I never have time to do it. Feel free to look in my gallery and offer suggestions on others I have done. The others were done mainly with drop in templates so any suggestions for add ons would be great!!

I love, love, love gone fishing!!! As the daughter, wife and mother of fishermen, I think that is terrific......
as a matter of fact, that could pass for my late father in that boat!

I agree with Colleen about switching the words with the cakes. It is wonderful the way it is of course, just personal preference I guess.
The fishing page is adorable, I'm not quite that creative though.

Nice job, Laura! I'm with Colleen about the words- I would turn them. You could switch places with the cake or tilt them a little so it covers the corner of the top photo (so you could block out the part of your kitchen that doesn't add to the photo of him and the cake. I'm glad you posted, it also gave us a chance to enjoy the other images in your gallery!

Laura,
Now we know why you wanted a cake custom shape!
A really lovely design - personally I also wasn't too keen on having to read the text sideways on but that's not too say there's anything wrong with it like that!
Loved all the pages in your gallery.

Thanks everyone!!! I really appreciate all the feedback... makes me think I might be on the right track with this digital scrapbooking thing. I'm trying to finish books for the grandmas for christmas this year so I guess I really need to get scrapping!!!
