Nancy I love your two latest additions. Your water lily is gorgeous. Your Niece is gorgeous also, I love her dress. I love that color on her, I thought it was an unusual color, most young people wouldn't choose that color. Good for her that she chose it. I studied the pic for a long time I can't really see anything obvious that you changed but I'm gonna guess the lawn behind her.

I can't stand the suspense- what did you change?! The image of your niece is beautiful- does she always ask Aunt Nancy to use your picture-taking/PSE expertise? I love the water lily, too, what really catches my eye on that one is how clear the photo is.

Terry, Kim and Kay
Thank you so much. Yes Terry she chose the color. It is an unusual color to pick but she really liked it. My daughter, whose's homecoming is next weekend, chose black with white trim. (her pics will be up next week);)
Kay - she did ask me again to do the pictures although the weather was horrible and we were very rushed so I'm not really happy with them. It rained all day and was so muggy and gloomy it was terrible.
What did I change - well - here's the original:

The gazebo we were using was next to a very busy road and houses. The only background I could get without cars was the cornfield so I figure it would be easier to "clean up" this way.:D

That's too funny- the cornfields are great, but not for the occasion!:)

Wonderful job Nancy... It makes more of an impact when we see the before and after. You do such a good job, we just think that is how it was taken. :)

Nancy - I was just coming to post on what a lovely shot that was. I love the colour of the dress and the bit of yellow flower adds a great touch. I don't know how you changed the background so well. Did it take forever to do the selection. I don't seem to be too good at that. Great job.

Thank you Shari and Marsha.
Shari - I blended the two pictures and then I used a mask to do it and it was really pretty easy.

Excellent work at combining the two Nancy.
The choice of dress colour was an unusual one, but a very good one, because she looks stunning.

Nancy,
You have done an absolutely wonderful job on that photo of your niece - anyone who does realise the potention of PSE would not have believed the before and after. Look forward to seeing your daughter's photos next week.

Great job on that Nancy, I was almost going to say that the skirt of the dress was an inverted flower. I was thinking that the lilies at the bottom of the page were a hint. LOL

Thank you guys so much. Yes Karen- the power of Elements is amazing. I used only Elements to do it. I just can't get myself going with that CS2. Hopefully I'll get inspired tomorrow as I'm going to the seminar in St. Louis and am really looking forward to it.
