I click on browse all galleries and there is this wonderful image that jumps out at you!! I look down to see the remarks... there are none? I go back to see whose name is on the top and have to stop again to stare at the picture. Finally make it to the top and it is Terry! Felt like one of those duh moments! Of course it's Terry! Just Fantastic!! :D
You used Mr. Contrast again didn't you? I have played with mine and don't get anything close to yours. (i am not worthy) :p

Thanks Kimi and Nancy. Kimi you make me laugh with your expressive comments. Kimi I didn't use Mr. contrast this time. When I do use it I use with a blend mode and play with the opacity and usually have other layers blended as well. For this one I was playing around with thislow key effect tutorial. Its for photoshop but I used grants tools for a work around, I didn't follow it exactly just kind of played around.

Kimi and Kim- I think we need to be in Terry's head to see how her creativity works. Until science is at that point, I'll just sit back and enjoy her images!:)

Terry... I tend to be a very strange person indeed.:D
I never thought about using it and changing blend modes and opacity. Something to work on. :)
It really did turn out beautifully.
Thank you for the link but it does not work????

Kimi I didn;t thing you were strange, I loved the way you expressed yourself. The link doesn't seem to be working I tried it twice again. Go to www.thelightsrightstudio.com . They have a flash page(I think thats why the link won't work) press enter, select the digital darkroom from the menu bar on top of the page, then select the learning gallerys. Scroll down to the tutorial called low key lighting effects.
Thanks Kimh and Kay. Kimh just keep practicing and reading and you'll get there.

Thanks Kimi, I'll try not to peek at your work before I even look at mine:D
My work week doesn't end until 7:30 PM Monday. I fit my 40 hrs. in Sat. Sun. and Monday. Strange, but works for me right now. I always feel behind on my "homework".
Kimh
Oh, I do have it printed though:o

Hi Kimi........
I'm not at all sure about me 'doing fine'.
I've had a brief look..........and I know what you mean. I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed at the moment. There is so much I'd like to do/like to try. There is just not enough hours in the day. I'd like to try some scrapbooking, I want to do Grant's challenge, I want to look at this tut that Terry has just given us the link for, I've got the Pizzazz and Collage class stuff to do..................and heaps of other stuff as well. I don't know how people, like Nancy for instance, do all of this and more AND hold down a full time position as well. Yikes (As Alice would say)........how does she do it? And I want a 'life' as well. Sometimes I think I need to stand back a bit from this addiction before it completely takes over!
I have to learn to prioritize...............:D :D

I know what you mean. I want to learn soooooo bad!
And I love it, it is finally starting to make sense. But I did have to give myself a good talking to last week. Get your behind up and go to work.
(that's the PG version)
I have an Open House tomorrow so I will be working. (good girl!)
