Yeah, Mary, I was just over there checking out everything on the site. Not enough hours in the day to play though...

Kay ...
Wouldn't it be great if you could add hours to the day ... like you can add layers to images  :D :D

I don't know how I'm going to keep up with it all, I had cut myself back to just three forums and now there is a 4th I just have to go and check out. At the very least I want to get the videos every week. Especially if there is going to be some PSE5 training.

I am anxious to check it out! I haven't had time yet .. like Wendy .. I need hours added onto my day or the need for less sleep ;)

I had myself down to this one and the adobe.com forums for PSE. I had dropped Nikonians and Radiant Vista because there wasn't enough time in the day. But, I went ahead and signed up for Linda's. (Same user ID over there, too.) Getting the Videos will be great. And, a free gallery, so I uploaded a few of my pages over there.
So many things to do, so little time...

haven't had a chance to look myself as I spent the better part of the day in a gym watching my daughter play basketball. Did have a bit of a break and got in trouble at chapters buying two ps magazines! Boy they're expensive.
Guess I'll have to save my peeking for tomorrow or monday when I have more time....someone is staring at me and wanting a walk. :(

In case anyone else is trying to get to the chat tonight-they were having a lot of problems before it started, both with the site and the chat, so it's not just you if you can't get in!

Kay,
Yeah, I was trying to upload my WBWT and it wouldn't load - PM'd one of the moderators and she said they were having serious technical difficulties. Right now I can't even get into the forums at all. Thought I'd poke around here for a while...

Hey, Kay! I just sent you a PM asking you about this. I got booted several times & I was signed on 45 minutes early. Well, they'll sort it out, I guess.

Yeah, I'm sure Linda and the gang are frustrated too! And there were a lot of people new to chatting and uncomfortable with the format, so I hope that they don't think they're the only ones who can't get on!

Linda's chat was going to be my reward for all the oral surgery I had done today - 6 implants!!! Oh well - I will have to take my meds and go night night. :( ouch

Ouch, Mary, you DO deserve a reward. Get som rest at least.

well I was in the chat and it was at a stand still so came here and then got an error message about flash running slowing and causing problems so I just closed out. No point in sitting there further. Nothing will be happening there tonight. Those that did try to jump over to the forums like suggested could not get in. The number count went from over 70 down to less than 60 people while I was there. It's a bust. I guess we'll have to wait and see tomorrow what Linda has to say. I don't think this format is going to work. There would have been constant interuptions also with people entering and getting booted. A shame really, but not a surprise given it was the first attempt at this.

I kept getting booted out of the chat room. Now I cannot log on to the forums or chat room.

Yeah, I was wondering about the constant comings and goings while they were trying to post information. I do like the forum format where you can come and go when it's convenient, and the information is waiting there for you.

I went over 1/2 hour early and could not get on the forum or the chat. Never did get in anywhere. Hopefully they'll work it out.

I've been trying for an hour to get in - and finally gave up and came over here. Couldn't access anything in the forum over there either.
I'm sure it will be a good forum with great opportunity to learn - but it is a bit big, sort of like DSP. I'm not into big.... I like it over here just fine (I know this is big, but this little seciton isn't so big).
Plus I'm not really into doing challanges - I have to be in the mood to create or it just doesn't come out looking very good. Well I should say my pages come out worse than they do when I am in a creative mood.

Yeah, they are having major server issues. Very frustrating but understandable for the first event. I signed in 45 minutes early and at that time there were 91 people in the chat

Yeah, the forms are up now, but I still can't upload my images... But, I suspect they were not prepared. She might have to do multiple chats - but that's hard for the moderators. But, I did see she uploaded the PDF for everyone to download, and the pretty peach paper she used in the video, too. And, she is giving everyone until Saturday to post their WBWT layout.
I remember the days... I was a software engineer, and we had online testing we had developed (this is for a Fortune 500 company) to test peoples skills in technical arenas, and we rolled it out very slowly - one country at a time. Glad I don't have to think about that stuff anymore.
I'm glad Linda's stuff is so popular, and it makes me very excited about getting her videos.

If had all that done I'm afraid I would have been floating in "happy land" with the little pills and totally incapable of typing. :D Not that that is a bad thing...the floating I mean...:D :D

Thanks Kay, Jo and Nancy! I am sore but feeling good this morning - I have a full day planned and am actually feeling pretty fortunate that I found a dentist who is creative and willing to find a solution for my ongoing problems. Some times these young whipper snapper medicos really know where it's at.:) I think my problems are probably less painful than poor Linda's this morning. I hope she can keep in mind that it was her unbelievable success that swamped her servers. She is a real treasure and I know she was responsible for my progress with Elements.:)
