Well, I am back with an update on printing a digital photo as a 4 x 6 or a 5x 7
and losing a part due to the different aspect ratio of film from digitaland and the printers of the world.
The manager at our local Walgreens worked with several of mine and came up with the following.....
AT 300 resolution set the image size for a 4 x 6 to 1200 x 1800
and for a 5 x7 2100 x 1500. Not finished with the 8 x 10 size as yet.

These do work fairly well, until...( I know~everyone reading this knows its coming) you are trying to print with a border around the outside of the image. I've messed with pixel by pixel all week and getting better. However, when I thought I had the exact one, I found printing it on a different printer or out of another program changed the sizing slightly again. It also made a difference if I used 4 x 6 paper or put the photo in the center of an 8.5 x 11 sheet of paper.Big paper was better.

I guess for now, I just will not plan to print an outside border edge.
