Hi,
I've been lurking here for several months now and I recently became a subscriber. The information and knowledge offered by everyone in this forum is most impressive. It's great to find clear, outcome-oriented answers with no problems and no usenet-style nonsense.

I find the videos and tutorials in the Members Area to be very useful - I managed to get a Border Breakout right with little effort. When I had a problem understanding one step, a search of the forum got me the answer in about two minutes. I can't imagine a better learning situation.

That's all for now, but I'll be back soon.

SteveA,
welcome to our family. When you are ready, how about opening a gallery and then we will have another one to look at. Also don't be shy of posting your work on the forum. You will get support, constructive criticism if needed but no way will you be sneered at or have your work derided as you may on other forums.
This forums works so well because everyone tries to help everyone, so that we all become better at using Elements.
Don't forget that Elements and this forum are both highly addictive.
Kev.

Hi Steve- I wanted to do the breakout for my first image, but I finally gave up and ended up choosing something easier! Nice job on yours and looking forward to seeing more of your work!

SteveA,

Great work on the breakout!

I am still laughing at "You can put your boots in the oven, but that don't make 'em biscuits." :D

Cheers,
Helen

Hi Steve

Welcome to the forums.

I think you need 4.7628 photos to be a gallery. :D

Hi, Steve,

So you're the lurker. I've been wondering who it was! :p

I think you need 4.7628 photos to be a gallery...

And according to GaryK, I only have a galler, and you just have gall!

You're breakouts are great! They are hard to master, so keep it up! They are one of my favorite effects. :)
