Has anyone had any experiences with having photos made into a hardcover photo album? If so, what service did you use and were you happy with the results?

Thanks in advance for your replies.

I've used MyPublisher (www.mypublisher.com) for several hardcover albums. Their free software makes it very easy to arrange a book and the print quality is good. Turn around time is very fast - I usually have my order within 4 days.

I have ordered softcover books from VioVio (http://www.viovio.com/wiki/Photo+Books)and have good results with them as well. There site isn't as easy to use, but it is cheaper and offers the option of having one of your own photos on the cover.

I just discovered PictureSlide (http://www.rocketlifeproduction.com/thepictureslide/products.html) - don't know much about them, but they look promising - and they offer square format books in both soft and hard cover. They offer photo covers on both their hard and soft cover books.

I use My Publisher and am pleased with their quality, service and prompt delivery. Their albums come in a variety of sizes and prices, but all are good quality. Make sure the uploaded JPG file is at least 220 dots per inch for the best results.

If you later get interested in calendars, you may want to check out Cafe Pres. Everyone we gave a calendar to last year thought they were greateady e-mailing me to see what the 2007 calendar will be like. They make great Christmas or Honukkah gifts as they provide something all year.
