Lost my Icons

For some reason while I was doing my last football effort I lost the tool pointer icons. I tried to restore them through preferences but they did not come back. so all I have now is the little cross. Any ideas?:(

I see the cap lock idea posted about everytime someone gets the crosshairs. Is that it Bill?

Yeah that was it. Hadn'd happened to me before but I was using the caps lock for the text mask. Thanks.:)

I think that we've all done that at some time. It is easy to do it accidentally. You can if you are using Windows go to Control Panel - Accessibility Options - Keyboard - Toggle Keys. Put a tick in the box and if you press the Caps Lock by accident you will get an audible warning.
If however you were using Caps Lock and forgot to turn it off, well you know what happens then!

I must have told this story before ....

... but when I first got Elements this happened to me and I thought I must have done something wrong so I unistalled and then re-installed Elemnents :o

Then it happened again and I did the same thing ... and again and again etc (Sigh).

This went on for months and then I found a message on one of the forums about why it happens ... I was so relieved but I did feel an idiot :eek:

Ummm ... I just don't often admit to making them :D :D

Oh this one bugged me for months ... now you know why I am pretty good uninstalling and re-installing Elements. My goodness I did it often enough until I found out about the Caps Lock :D :D

Now I am having other problems. After I completed my latest football creation I went to save it as a jpg after resizing it. I got a message box saying "The Organizer Failed to Execute" and on clsoing that one "OBDC Data Source Error (Internal Error: Data Not Found)" and then "Nothing was Imported," The file is where I placed it on the hard drive but it is not in the Organizer either separately or in the Version Set that contains the original. Any ideas?

When I try to get the item from the file using File>Get Photos in the Organizer I get the same messages.
