WHAT?!!!!!! I take a short sabatical for the summer and I come back to see there is not only an upgraded version but there's also new videos???!!!! How will I EVER catch up now??? I am still playing catch up with my housework and paperwork while keeping the reins pulled in tight when it comes to homeschooling. Argh!
Did everyone upgrade to version 5?? How much did you pay? Where did you get it from???

Oh, it is good to have you back!!!! I was beginning to worry about you, seemed strange for you to be gone for so long!!! But........ you are entitled to take some time off!!!:D
I am also wondering if everyone is going to get 5. I'm not sure what I'll do, there is so much to PSE4 that I haven't figured out yet. On the other hand, if everything is going to be geared to 5, I don't want to be left behind, as I am not good at finding those work-arounds myself.

Thanks for the concerns and welcome back. I cant say that I have had a huge amount of time to really work with my photos this summer. I have been shooting a little bit, but nothing really significant (as far as capturing Japan with my last year left here). My kids had sports, we had a summer camp, and I was asked to take pictures of a small wedding vow renewal. They were all great. The latter was a bit of a challenge due to lack of low light lenses and/or powerful flash. But, I shot in RAW and was able to save a few pictures in PSE4.0 thankfully. I realize more and more that wedding photography is one unique animal. I created some special moments (via PSE) with some soft blur or b/w,etc. But "the" moments to capture are tough when it's fast forward with or without you!
Anyway, I have also been dedicating time to creating a new personal blog for me (family) and a separate one homeschooling. That was a new addiction getting started - the REAL way I wanted to share my pictures....show them AND talk about them!!
Well, I look forward to dropping in from time to time. I will try to update my gallery with some recent images from Oirase Valley...GORGEOUS river. i havent even downloaded them from the camera yet!!! I will go back there in a few weeks and hope to see some fall colors.
OH... my sister is coming to visit soon too so i will be tied up til October again..sigh. But I am still here!!
ok, that was a blog post in a carsize nutshell, geez!! Like you all wanted to hear all that... LOL!!!! Long story, short .... I have been busy and I will pop in when I can!!
Now I am off to bed and I will read up on PSE 5 tomorrow....
