Well with my Epson I use 'full color management' in pe3. Under preferences>saving files, I check the 'ignore camera exif' and this way when i open an image I am prompted to tag my image with one of 3 choices..I choose Adobe rgb'98.
When I go to print, I choose the 'show more options' for the color management settings. The 'source space' would read it as an Adobe rgb 98 image, under 'print space' I scroll to the appropriate paper profile for my printer ie; Epson Stylus Photo 785epx Premium glossy photo paper and I choose 'relative colormetric' for intent.
If you don't see profiles loaded for your printer in the drop down I do believe the R300 has them on the installation disc...look for PIM plug-in that came with the original printer CD ...after installation of plug-in the profiles should appear in drop down after re-starting Elements.
Moving on...next step click the 'page set up' and choose printer>properties>choose appropriate paper media that coincides with profile chosen, choose custom or advanced button, choose 'fine' or 'photo' setting...'photo' settings tends to be extremely acceptable ...'best photo' and 'photo rpm' (if you have it) use more ink with not 'that much' of an improvement in print....unless you don't care about ink expense then go ahead and use it.
Under color management settings choose 'No Color Adjust' and then click the Print button. Pay no attention to 'print preview' image...it will look horrid.
With Epson be sure to use epson ink and Epson paper..preferably premium glossy or similar ( I also use Ilford Galerie papers )
This is printing from Editor...not Organizer
