Have to admit that I couldn't cope without layer masks ... so I use Grant's :D

Some of them don't so Grant did a cut down version for PSE4:

these are the tools that work in PSE4:

* Layer Mask
* Transform Selection
* Guides
* Channels Red
* Channels Green
* Channels Blue

Channel Mixer, Curves and Selective Colour don't.

Will you be updating the tools to PSE5. I still use PSE 3 and I love your tools.

Hi Merrill,

In very simple terms Grant's tools are in fact actions that use a backdoor method to access Photoshop tools that are already inside Elements. The reason they are there in the first place is because Adobe based Elements on Photoshop but made some of the Photoshop features inaccessible.

When Adobe moved from PSE3 to PSE4 some of the backdoor access was blocked and that meant that some of Grant's tools wouldn't work any longer. So he took out the ones that wouldn't work in the set for PSE4.

When you get PSE5 its now a case of just try out Grant's tools and keep your fingers crossed that they still work :)
