How do I change settings in Adobe Bridge so as NOT to use Elements 4 as the "default". Would like to add other photo editing program options.

Go to the preferences, then under File Type Association, scroll the list to the files you want opened with something else, click on the down arrow on the right side, then click Browse. Choose your apps :)
Hope this helps !

Thanks Ray for your help-- but, I still can't find a way to add other progra editing options. Is the preference link you are refering to in Bridge or where?
Can you be more specific or detailed as to where I can find a way to change Elements 4 from being the defaulf program when I attempt to open a photo in Bridge?

Wendy,
I went to Bridge and found preferences under edit and then file type associations ok but couldn't find a way to change the bridge default from Elements 4. Can you be any more specific?

Hi Bill ...
You have to change the file associations of the different files types to the program you want them to open with. So click on jpg and change that one ... and then just do the same for any others you want to change :)
