Is there an easy way to calibrate my monitor with what is being printed. Just when I've thought I've had something the way I've wanted it, after I printed my picture I was disappoited.

Also the smart fix on my program seems very off. I never use it because it makes the pictures look horrible. Are there settings that I should check so that it would actually enhance. Thanks.....Sandy

Hi Sandy ...

Probably the first thing to do is calibrate your monitor :)

So are are you using Windows ? and are you using a normal monitor (not an LCD).

If the answer to both of those if yes ... then try this link:

Do let us know how you go on with it ..

I'm not saying your monitor does not need some sort of calibration but also watch your paper type when you print.

I found some paper around here a while ago (no idea where it came from??) I had ran out of my normal kind, and figured I would throw this stuff in .. it looked good:).
I thought my printer was messed up the colours were so far off. The photos looked better on regular bond paper than on this other glossy stuff.

Just something else to add to the mix.:D

I agree Gary...........choice of paper can make a HUGE difference.
