I have been reading here in the form and haven't seen any thing on doodles. So what is the best way to make them and save them?

Debby,
Not sure what you mean by doodles. I know what doodling is and you can doodle on a blank canvas and save it. But are you talking about saving doodles as a brush so you can stamp it on your image?

Yes, what brush is best to use, if you are using a WACOM pen any special setting, is there any certain size you should you start out with , new file 12x12 0r does it matter.300ppi ? Just things in general? Just doodles you can use on a scrapbook page saved as a png file so you can plop them on your page. I think you would save them for a brush just like making any other brush. Didn't really think about making brushes out of them. Should you do any thing special if you are going to make them for making brushes?
Thank You,
Debby

Debby you can use any brush on any size document. If you are looking for more brushes to download Nancy posted this link the other day. There are bunches. Just open up a blank image and start playing around.
Here is the link

Edit: If you are trying to make your own brushes. Watch the 2 videos in the subscriber area.
Try Googling doodles and see what you get. Some interesting shapes.

I do think there is a maximum brush size when you are creating them.
1200 x 1200 pixels comes to mind. Sorry, I can't remember off the top of my head  It could be more.
Just something to keep in mind if you are going nuts making them.:D

Wendy- I think Debby means her post in this other thread:
I was making some brushes and I saved them in my basic brushes. When I tried to open basic brushes I get this " Could not coplete your request because the file is not compatible with this version of Photoshop." What did I do wrong and how do I stop that from coming up when I select Bacic Brushes. Thank you very much.
Debby
Just so you know, I uninstalled PSE and reinstalled of course that fixed the problem but Would some one please tell me what I might have done wrong to cause the problem in the first place?
