Your suggestions please....

My 8 month old son had his first hair cut today and I've been trying to put together a page on it. But it just doesn't seem to be coming together....

By the way - the brackground papers are from the kit exchange (I can't remember who's - Nancy's I think?) the purple set - but obviously they have been recolored. The tag was done with the new custom shapes courtesy of Wendy and the string tie is from "Fifty Nifty Tags, Tassles & Ties" CD by Linda Sattgast.

Jane, I think it is absolutely adorable the way it is. Almost made me cry as it made me think back almost 12 years to my sons first hair cut. Not being a scrapbooker (yet, anything is possible when learning from the awesome people here and Wendy) I think its great.

I think it looks great! I remember my son cried and cried when he got his first haircut.....I may have shead a tear too, he had wonderful curls.....none of my girls did!

It did come out very nice. Makes me want to dig out my oldest sons first haircut pic's. Yikes, I don't really remember my second son's first haircut:o
I won't tell him that though.

I tend to produce very simple layouts without a lot of fuss, but it just seemed like maybe I was getting too bare bones with this even if it is a page for a boy.

It's just great! Don't change a thing, :) I have 3 son's (adult's now) and I love getting ideas for boy pages. I have lot's of pic's to scrap! I need to do less looking and more doing :)

Jane- What a cute layout! I guess I need to get out my daughter's pictures of that and actually "scrap" it. The only thing that I might add is "First Haircut" in bigger letters somewhere, but it really can just stay the way it is.
