In honor of my friend Mrod. Mike got his kids to pose right - but they are still at an impressionable age. Here are my attempts from my recent vacation.

The way it should be:

Norm!!! LOL!!! Those are great! I cracked up at #2. And I'm flattered. ;)

Aside from being entertaining, they are also excellent photos. I love the color range, and the breaking of the ways. Outstanding work!

Yer Washington buddy,
Mrod. :D

EDIT: Your daughter stands like a dancer!

Norm.....AWESOME SUNSETS!

That second was too funny, but hey VACATIONS are meant to be FUN!

Love the shots, and fun to see thier poses just the same, keeps them cooperating if you let them have their fun too. :p

Great sunsets.
Thanks for sharing!

Norm, great pictures. Beautiful sunset.

I found that letting the kids do their goofy stuff in exchange for cooperation is the best way to go. Sometimes their silly pictures make the best ones.:D

Being at the beach, watching the sunset is a great way to end the day. Your sunset pictures are excellent. Russ

The beach was fun and the kids were having a great time. The two of them feed off of each other and I couldn't get them to stand still to save my life. I've got about six pictures of them in different poses and I'm trying to get them to stand still so I can get that one "perfect" one while the sun is setting. It's not like the sun was going to "pause" for them while they have their fun. :D It really was funny and we all had a good laugh, even if I was struggling to get the picture. Yesterday was my son's 20th birthday. We went out for pizza, and I thought we were going to get kicked out of the place because of the two of them. I wonder where they get their craziness from.... :o

The beach sunset shots here in Western Washington are fabulous. I took a bunch of them at Ilwaco a few years ago. Here is one of them.

I also took a bunch at Lime Kiln Lighthouse. Here is one of those.

Wow Norm those are amazing sunsets, I love all of them. My favorite is the one in your gallery with the seagull flying thru. Great color on all of them.

Oh, I hadn't seen the latest ones! I, too, like the one with the gull flying through.

Here is another shot at Illwaco. The smaller person in the picture is now has 4 kids and lives in Denver. So please excuse the dust on my old slides.:( What has always amazed me is the color of those sunsets without any alteration, usually lasting only a few minutes. Note the size of the surf that evening.:)
